December 10th - We mailed our Christmas cards yesterday, and there was a reference to this web site if anybody is interested in following my progress battling the pulmonary fibrosis. Nothing new to report today, but I have my quarterly checkup on December 17th at National Jewish Hospital in Denver and hopefully after the tests I will have a positive report.
They put me through a six minute walk and some breathing tests and match the results against the previous quarter's. NJH has been the top respiratory hospital in the U.S. for the last twelve years running, and I'm getting excellent care there.
I'm going to be blogging more - and not just about health. I'm fed up with the direction those in Washington are trying to take our country, and during my next prednisone insomnia session at 3 a.m. I'll probably unload. Remember - the name of the blog is "Ramblin' ", so I'll probably do some of that.
